We walked down to the border of the neighborhood.
It was this "river", above. The river was full of
garbage and there were a few men down in it burning
garbage.

I didn't even want to breathe the air.
We were told that stolen cars are brought out here
where they are stripped, dumped into the river
and then burned.

Above, is the "bridge" to the next barrio.
The land that these people live on is not theirs.
They divert water and electricity to their
homes. They have no indoor plumbing.

They have a lot of dogs and no
control over the population.
There were puppies of every
description everywhere.
