We arrived in Antigua on Wednesday afternoon.
We stayed at the Posada Don Rodrigo which
is located right down town on the same street
where the famous arch is located.
The hotel was working on a model "alfombra"
or carpet in the courtyard.



The carpets are made using colored sawdust.
Oren learned how to use a stencil and worked
on the carpet all night...



until it was finished!



Processions were going on all day and night.
This was a procession for Mary. Girls and women
participated in helping to carry the float.
