I love this photo. We were sitting on the porch of
an outdoor cafe in San Pedro on Lake Atitlan.
Women were walking through the restaurant selling
all sorts of textiles. This woman had just come by our
table and then walked out to the balcony. I love
all of the fabrics going this way and that. She has a
pile of scarves on her head. They are tied together
and then balanced on top of a little piece of fabric
that she keeps there just for the purpose of holding
stuff up there.
