We're back in Monteverde, Costa Rica. We had a pretty uneventful trip down.
The most exciting thing we saw was the paved road! They seem to be extending the paved part of the road up the mountain from the highway. Monteverde is at about 1530 meters above sea level.
We're actually in a part of the country where we can see the Pacific Ocean and we are only a short hike up to the Continental Divide.
There are many things that we need to accomplish in the first few days here and I am hoping to check in often and update this blog.
