Our first interview and meetings began
at the Hospital Eva Peron in a
northern part of Buenos Aries called
San Martin.
Above is the entrance to the offices of
the Infectious Disease Department.
We met a few people here and then drove
out to the neighborhood where they were
going to be working for the morning.

The clinic is in an old church building. It is in a
very poor neighborhood of mostly immigrants.
Both people from other countries and people
from the interior of Argentina have moved to
this area in search of a better life.
As you will see, it is really hard to see how this life
could be any better than where they came from.

Everything is recycled and protected with
fence. From what we heard, the fence is the
first thing they put up.

We set out with our hosts as they conducted a
survey of the neighborhood. They were stopping
in people's homes and interviewing them.
As Dengue was a serious concern each family was
told to take precautions against the disease.
