This is a toucan similar to the birds we saw in Arenal. The photos from Arenal aren't very good because the birds were really far away.



















We saw a lot of animals, for such a short time.









Hope is holding her hand next to a katydid which is REALLY big! They are fairly common.























These birds were very common around the feeding area. They are called Montezuma Oropendula. They are related to a blackbird.









We saw a lot of leaf cutter ants. They were busy working in the same area of the path on our way up to the crater lake and they were still there about two hours later when we came down.
