Well, I sure do have a lot more espanol to learn.
On a regular trip to the farmers' market I asked a vendor
about a salsa that she was selling.
(This all happened in Spanish, which you will
understand resulted in my problem.) She told me it had
tomatoes, onions and a few other things I didn't
understand. I figured it couldn't be too bad.
HOW WRONG I WAS.
So now I not only know what tripe looks like and tastes like,
I know that it's disgusting. I looked it up in The Joy of Cooking,
one of the two cookbooks in our house.
The author mentioned something about shoe leather which
I would have to agree makes a good comparison,
not that I've tried shoe leather recently.
Anyway, Ethan helped me with a little documentary photography.
Back to school for me, in January!
